Hollow Knight: Silksong

Silksong forgot Hollow Knight

Hollow Knight has that charming (punch intended) difficulty adjustment; you can engage in the most difficult bosses in the game whenever you want but Silksong abolished it completely. The floor has been raised; the enemies is somewhat cunning - wasting your time and test your patience, skills is infused with time-wasting in silksong's definition, difficulty is forced and artificial when a boss is combined with long precision runback and a gauntlet - i called it a triple frustrator. I know this is boils down to skill issues but i write the revew to reflect my experience. i spent four hours on Groal the Great not because the boss is tough but the lead-ups which includes a long precision runback and a mandate gauntlet. at the end, my fingers hurt and i stop playing any games for three days because of burnout. silksong gave me two firsts, one is a four hour bosss, another is abandoning the game because it's too tough. Hollow Knight is a game made for almost anyone from casuals to speedrunners, Silksong is a game made for near-speedrunners to the actual speedrunners.
