Lets face it the launch was not great. However that was a long time ago. The game is good now. If you like exploring, building and meeting interesting galattic beings then give the game a go. It gets 4 stars becasue Im reserving 5 stars for the one perfect game that has yet to be made.......this is getting close though.
Yeah, its not a big game but it was a good way to spend a rainy day inside. I had enough fin to not turn it off until it was finished. SOmetimes the things you is finding was a little small but luckily there is a "find this shit" button if you collect enough bugs. The puzzles were hard but I suck at puzzles however I managed to do them all with only a slight headache in chapter 4............If its on sale and you want a sit down relaxing game then buy it.
Yeah I got this mostly because it was free. I had a good time. The battleing was fun, the charetors engaging enough and the story interesting enough to make me want a little more. Perfectly adequate, I might pick up more when they are on sale.
I kind of liked it but I understand if others dont. I knew nothing about this game when I started witch I think is a good place to start. The story and clue finding draged me through casue I wanted to make sure everyone was OK. It is a play once type game and has zero action but if your the sentimental sort you should get something out of it.
The game is a little buggy at times but that kind of adds to the charm. It is a little tricky sometimes and if your like me you will start over a few times. All in all Im happy. The trick is to not rush through and take your time so by the time you get to the end your skilled up enough to tackle the challenge. I do hope there is some DLC or sometihng in the future casue I feel the game could have a lot of potential to expand.
I played this game on a rainy afternoon. It is more movie than game but I still liked it. The story was good, the main guy was a little complainy but not without reason. I think it is a game you will only play once but that is OK.
The game is a little slow but you really get the feeling those little guys are people. Managing there mental state as well as there health and ammo is all part of the game. Way back when I first played it this game made me cry. At the end of each battle you get a list of names and a few stats on soldiers killed, acts of bravery and such. You really do kind of get attached to the names as the campain goes along. One day I was not watching my left flank and before I knew it crumbled, quickly followed by the middle and right flank. Looking at the list of names with KIA and WIA next to it was just sad, especially knowing it was my fault they all died. Playign the game now. The graphics are a little blury and old school also the game play is quite slow (slower than I remembered) as your soldiers carefully make their way to where you want them but If you can look past those two things then you will like the game...........
Yeah OK, Im a wimpy sooky boy. I kept getting all scared and had to finish the game during the day time.
I dont normaly give 5 stars but I tihnk this one diserves it. Its dripping in atmoshere and the story kind of drags you along to find out what happens next. You should defenatly play this even if your not into slower games just to say you have played it. The only problem I had was that I got stuck on a rock once and at the start its a little easy to get lost, though it is the forest so that is probably a feature..........
I did not hate this game, most of the puzzles are solvable with a bit of thinking. It holds your hand a little tight sometimes. The sneaking parts are a pain and if you mess up then you have to start at the start of the level........even if its not your fault. There were a few bugs.............like a naked lady who died and then stood up but playing the level again it did not happen so who knows. If the game is on sale and you like adventure games or killing maids then pick it up yeah. I had fun.
