I'm not a fan of most point and click games. Especially old ones. I like the Sam and Max games (the new episodic ones) and that's about it. However Beneath a Steel Sky is different from all of the other ones. The puzzles are difficult, but not too the point that it's impossible to complete without cheating. The story is interesting, though a tad bit short. The voice acting is decent, though at times it is different from the written text. Truly, I wasn't expecting something this good. I assumed that a point and click game that is free would be horrid. There is no excuse for anyone not to play this game, especially since it's a small download and free.
Okay, so the controls are a little bit difficult. But once you get used to them, be prepared for a great adventure flying around and destroying robots and the like. Just don't play too long at a time, otherwise you may find yourself hurling or near to doing that.

I'm not exactly what you would call an older gamer. And I'm not exactly a fan of low graphic isometric view games. Until now. Fallout 2 is just absolutely perfect. It's got a great storyline, an open ended world, it's own sense of humor and a great combat system. If it had better graphics (hey, I grew up with high graphical games), I could safely say that this is the ultimate rpg and surpasses Oblivion easily. It's just too bad for me that Fallout 3 is rated MA15+.
