OK I am not reviewing this version. But this is a CLASSIC GOG from probably the best gaming company in the late 80s-90s: The BITMAP BROTHERS. I spend numerous hours with the original game! I hope to see more Bitmap Brothers game coming live on GOG (in particular the Speedball series!)
Kind of remember playing with this game. Some of the text joke are eventually annoying over time (e.g. your shoe is untied). The game was pretty good at that time and fun to play!
Decent game bought at discounted price :) Not really playable with the keyboard and setting a joypad is a pain in the neck (especially with the poor manual instruction!!!).
I remember having this game in the late 90's... It was hell of buggy and hard to play... The game-book from where the game originated was much better!!!
I got it through special offer on GoG. Game seemed interesting from the description. If the game is good with a good story, it does suffer of few problems: - Puzzle can be hard to solve. - Program bugs - I have suddenly lost all sounds in the game!!! Don't know why and did not find how to resolve that. - Clicking for performing does not always work. - When the sound works, there are few parasitic noise between sequences. quite noticeable when you play with headphone.
I got the game through special offer on GOG. Main interest was RPG style and potential good graphics based on the screenshots. After installation, the graphics did not look so great to me :( Just for that, this game ended up on the backup burner in my priority list (well when you end with 5 games for like $15... You need to set priority, right???). Will make a less shallow review later (after a real thorough playing of Inquisitor).
Great game that changes from the classic Diablo-like. I did not have a change to finish it yet...
I got it in through a special offer. Great platform game with few control problems when using keyboard (might be more the end-user than the game itself).
