Concept is simple but playing is very addictive and fun. My only regret is that there is no story with a true ending.
Hi, the game does perfectly the job: really entertaining, without any stress, a must-have to relax after a long day of labor. The assistance system is really nice and adds to the gameplay. However, two disappointing things: - it should have deserved far more included maps: they are excellent with a progression for each era. Relying only on them makes the game very short - to access to the online community maps, Gog Galaxy is mandatory. As I don't want to install it, there is no way to continue playing with new maps By the way, there are DLCs but I didn't bought them, therefore I can't say whether they are good of not.
I wasn't expecting this game to be so brillant: it breaks the rules of other games while making the player think about the repetitive gameplays we are used too. This is so refreshing and unexpected. And very smart too. Moreover, this game is cheap. Therefore, don't miss the experience, which I can compare to Undertale in the way it makes us think out of the box. And it is also very very funny!
This game is an amazing treasure because it is a love letter to the great point-and click games of the 90's such as Lucas Art ones. There are tributes to these games everywhere! There are tributes to other geek culture elements too. And lots of funny situation that remind of british humor such as Monty Python, Benny Hills or Mister Bean. All of that made me have a real good time, with nice graphics and animation that support a nice story. Why 4 stars only out of 5? Because I wish there were more mini-games (the included ones were cool) and a more developed ending: lots of interesting characters were introduced, it is a pity they were not more used at the end of the game. Game's end was quite short compared to the rich lore that was shown during the game.
This game is amazing: it succeeds in paying a huge respect to its predecessors while extending the gameplay to meet 21st century's players expectations at the same time. It is so cool that it is a sequel and not a reboot! Here are my pros and cons: PROS: - Wonderful graphics and animation - Musics are great too, of course the retro ones but the new ones too - Game action is just amazing! Gameplay is tip top: devs made use of the extra-buttons to give more control. Skills of the characters are nice - Up to 4 players with a friendly-damage disabling option (a must-have!) - Works fine on a rather basic computer: I managed to play the game flawlessly in FullHD on a weak 2012 ultrabook, much slower than the minimal requirement (ultralow voltage, 6 GB RAM, GeForce 620M) - No-DLCs: lots of free items to unlock CONS: - Game is not so long (but so were the original games) but it is not so easy for an average gamer like me - I wish there were a sound test menu to listen to the wonderful soundtrack! I highly recommand buying this game. It totally met my expectations and this is quite rare! Congratulation to the devs for such a game!
