I like VNs quite a lot and have played a few. I really enjoyed this one, and was going for a 5 star review, and probably buying the Fandisc (W happiness)... But then the routes happened ! Pros : Most characters are really nice, and even secondary characters are very well fleshed out, which is great. The theme of the only man in a school of girls is very well treated at first with the problem, bullying and all it might involve, so it's not too "sweet" The main route is great and interesting. Cons : The problem with fleshed out side characters is when they're clearly better girlfriends material than the main girls... Forgiveness. Now that may not seem like a bad thing in itself, but out of the three routes (haven't finished the fourht one yet), the girls routes seemed to all resolve around "someone in someone's family is a complete psycho". Which pissed me off for two reasons : 1) repetition 2) they forgive those mentaly challenged hysterics ! If I'd played only the main route, my rating would be 5 stars, if I'd rated only / mostly the heroin routes, I'd go for 1 star, maybe 1 and a half as in "I've consdered dropping this way too often"
The game is nice with 7 routes where the team has to face different challenges on their road to stardom, depending on the character of the girl you put as the center. The art is good, the music too (without being exceptional, it's nice and fits the mood), the sex scenes are nice (you need the DLC from Denpasoft for that, I recommend it, I'm pretty sure it's free) There are few choices but that didn't really bother me since there are already 7 routes. Each of those I did (6 so far) had a good and a bad ending, the bad one shorter. The bad ends can be really bad... I mean, the whole game is pretty cheerful so you sometimes forget the dark undertone that always lurk around, but the bad ends shove it in your throat in a way you won't forget... but you kinda need to go through some of them to get all the sex scenes (an option is to keep saves before each choice to be sure and come back to the bad end i you want to and see in the CG that you missed something).
