Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits

Devs abandoned the game on GOG

DO NOT BUY this game!!! After dropping a few paid DLCs here, the devs have abandoned the GOG version while the Steam version still gets all the free patches, such as online co-op. Talked to their publisher and they want you to buy the full game again on Steam to be able to play with others online. Do not support these thieves!

A Short Hike

As Short a Trip as You Like

I started this game after completing both Hollow Knight and Dead Cells and I was longing for something relaxing and easy. I picked up A Short Hike, rushed through the game in less than half an hour, and I immediately regretted it. This is a game better enjoyed at a slower pace. There is a lot to take in, the world is nicely drawn, with naive but lovely characters each of which has their own little story to share. The mechanics are fluent and fun, it's so nice to just glide over the island and take in the views to a beautiful soundtrack. The graphics menu lets you choose between chunky pixel graphics or a more hand-drawn style. But best of all, this game lets you play at your own pace and it doesn't force any moral of the story upon you. I'll be back to play this game in a less rushed manner and I can wholly recommend this game to anyone willing to take a break and relax on a hike as short as you'd like it to be.
