The game is far better than I expected. The world is rich and interesting, the gameplay is solid. I'm not that far yet, just a couple of hours writing this but I didn't get any issues or bugs except occasional missing voiceover when the text is displayed (noticed 2 during 4 hour session).

As in the title. I made the mistake of buying the base game first. Now the GOTY and Season Pass cost the same, so it's like I had to buy the game twice. I feel like I'm being punished for buying the base game too soon. Won't make this mistake again with CDP titles. The game itself is fantastic and aged really well. Extensions add a lot of value (I have it on Steam and 2 consoles but I'm trying to go DRM free).

When I bought it years ago, I expected a bland and generic puzzle adventure game. Instead, I got a brilliant action game with good controls (for its time), shooting and very solid combat. Each level could be completed in several different ways, just like in today's games. If you compared it to todays titles, it would be "Uncharted" + "Batman: Arkham". PS. I still have the original box with Indy's journal attached. Nice packaging was the reason I bought it.

First of all: This is not casual game, this is not the game to play on the bus and this is not the game which will hold your hand. It is demanding, it requires you to think, try out new things, and most of all save the game often as you will die, a lot. It is RPG game married with adventure taking a lot from those genres, even their flaws. You basically have 4 worlds which you you have to visit in order to kill your twin brother. Each world has a different setting and a different way of playing it. If you commit a bit of your time, it is a lot of fun. There are occasional issues and I even had a feeling like some parts of the game were not really finished (you can dress up in Jack the ripper level but it is almost not used). Few times I had a pixel hunting and of course in few places it is very easy to stuck (by design). I remember my brother beating it ~28 years ago, I beat it half year ago and it was much more satisfying as many of the modern games.
