SteamWorld Dig

What a great little game !

Not being into platform style games, I have to say this one pulled me in from the start. It starts out quite simple as you mine for gems and minerals to upgrade your gear, but as you unlock more and more skills and abilities it really gets addictive. As other reviews have mentioned it's not a very long game, but you can either race to the finish and finish it in 4 hours, or you can actually explore for more resources and really flesh it out so you get to the more challenging end section with more upgrades. Nice casual experience definitely worth the price!

1849: Gold Edition

A little expensive but fun

It's a fairly simple city/economy management sim, though definitely more casual than most. It's fun, though once you work out the mechanics and how to manipulate them it gets a little easy. Though quite expensive for what you are getting, it is good for a few sessions of fun and there is enough to keep you coming back for a while. Would be 4 stars if not for the price.

Severance: Blade of Darkness

Doesn't work win 7

Bought because I really wanted to play this game I missed growing up, but it simply is broken on Win 7. Text is unreadable, menu system broken. Shame. Score doesn't reflect the game, just the fact it is broken on win 7.
