The game is straight up fun to play. The expectations some people have are just silly. If this game is not good then most games are just trash. What it is... Fun game with excellent shooting mechanics Balanced loot system that keeps you from using one weapon the entire game. World is a joy to drive around in Story is engaging and interesting What its not a commentary on our future a Political Correct story or world anything to do with the real world Its a video game to be played, its a place where you can do crazy things without hurting real people. Its fun and while it does have some bugs i have already spent over 50 hours in game and i have enjoyed every moment of the game. The people in the city have no purpose other than back drop, there is no reason to ever talk to any of them and this is one thing that i think should be fixed. They should add some more interaction with the base population. Aka If i am walking around with my tits hanging out people should have some type of reaction Nice tits wow get dressed Something should happen, same as walking around the city with a sniper rifle in my hand, people should not just walk past a guy in down town holding a massive sniper rifle like its every day thing. Overall the game stands pretty well on PC and with bug patches and content updates i think it will be one of the best games i have every played.
The game is allot of fun, I play games to have fun. This game has resources to manage but its really only a think in the first few hours of game play. It quickly comes to a point where you are not worried about the small things and you are just exploring. This game has stuff you lead you and teach you but its not a quest game where you have NPC telling you what to do. If you are an old school gamer that likes true freedom, this game is sublime. Pros You do have to collect things to get things created, however its not hard to find anything you need, the visor allows you to find most elements pretty easily, at least the base stuff that you need to make the stuff you need the most is not hard to find. The controls are pretty dam good, it does take some learning but once you learn it everything can be activated without a bunch of pecking on the key board... Its gets very intuitive after the starting learning curve The upgrades and ships feel meaningful, they impact the game in ways that make getting them feel worth wild. Exploration is just super fun and the game is the right mix of fun and reality... Some games go so far to the extreme of realizm that it becomes a job to play them. Not this game. But its not so trivial that you feel like there is no purpose spend time creating things. CONS No one tells you whats going on or what you should really be doing In the beginning it can be hard for people that are not used to having no direction. TIPS... Always make sure you have carbon to recharge you laser. So long as you have you laser you can get anything you need. But if you run out of laser and have no carbon you are screwed. Then you have to go find a plant you can pick up for carbon to charge your laser which is much harder to find than everything in the word you can blast for carbon.
