If you're playing this on a modern PC running Windows 7+ there's a high chance you'll run into immediate crashes. I had to spend about half an hour researching and installing multiple fixes to get this to work on my Windows 10 PC. It still crashes occasionally. I don't feel like this version has been optimized to be played on modern PCs at all, this is the first time I've ever had this experience with a GOG game. It truly feels like they're offering the OG files from the CD Rom.
I was a big fan of the Kings Quest games when I was a kid, but I never played either of the Phantasmagoria games. I'm honestly impressed with the acting and that every single scene is a real set. Also works very well on modern PCs, I'm playing on Windows 11.
