I love this game. I recently played before upgrading to win10 ( because this game doesn't work on win10 I heard) and I loved it. I saw some of the review about the gold edition and I agree. You shouldn't be restrained to a number of houses and if you don't have the space no babies should be born ( what parent want for their children to be homeless). I love this game and although I can't play it anymore I have fond memories of it.
I've got the game the week it got released. I can tell, from my 12 hours of gameplay I've done since that it is fun. It is really relaxing and cute. Since the release there is a lot of update and the developer is working hard on it! I've got pro and cons though for the game if you are ever interested. Pro : It's really really cute. Like unheavenly cute. The game is nicely explained (tutorial) and you have to do trials of try and error before understanding everything correctly. There is, at the moment, a nice amount of content for a early access so you can enjoy the game for a little while. There's a nice journal where you can read information from the slimes and other things you collect and useful information. Cons : Personally, the way the slimes are ... kept? It bothers me. There is, for the moment, no real customization of the pens (corrals) where the slimes are in and are small. So too much slime and they look so crowded. After you collect a lot of slime, it is tedious to feed them all too, because they are hungry often ( and to make money, you need to collect their plots so yeah, you need to feed them). There's no help given for that task. There is no story of the character you are playing too. You are just tossed out there and told to go get slimes. I recommend it for people, who like me like cute, bubbly and a little management that are not bored to do the same things over and over. ( A little like a harvest moon games.) It is still in early access too and it is promising so if you are not sure, wait until it is on sale to try it. I think it's worth it if you feel depress and stuff :)
