These are really good games. Although I am not that good at MOO2 I am terrible at MOO, although I love it at the end when you can have 30 doomstars in MOO2. Watch out galaxy you have the most powerfull fleet in the game. The game is a well thought out game that you can have different strategies depending on the game. The thing I hate is how the silicoid are useless, wish you could at least do something with them. Besides that these games are great, there are a must buy for a classic sci-fi game.
It's a average game, sadly the multiplayer is almost impossible to use. Really the game just introduced stuff from other franchises such as Civilizations and Stellaris. I think that the characters all well designed, but the space lanes just limit control of where you could go. The fuel cells in the 1st and second game allowed for further travel and I was disappointed when they weren't their. I remember in the second game when I took a fleet from one side of the galaxy and showed up on the other side, wiping out almost everything. In this game (without the jump gate) you would have to go from system to system to get to the other side of the galaxy. The game needs some updates and could have done better with its physics and not basing its systems on other games.
