Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

Addictive as the first one

It is a great game wit a lot "more of the same" content. However, the story is very hard to follow.

Minute of Islands

Really great storytelling

So first things first: Gameplay-wise the game is truly quite weak and I understand the other low rankings because of that. It has basically no challenge and "walking sim" is maybe the closest definition. The reason why I want to defend the game with a 5 star rating is, that it happens really rarely for me nowadays that the ambivalent meaning keeps me thinking for that long. The morbid visuals and the rather dark setting are painted beautiful and I don't think it would work in the shape of a comic, a novel or a movie. I still believe the game, coming together with it's "busy work" that somewhat underlines the story is the perfect format. I don't want to spoil any part of it, just want to give my statement, that people like me, who thought walking sims are not for them, suddenly saw in this game the one that changed their mind. Really loved it in the end

Dungeon Siege Collection

Feels incomplete

Just finished DS1, had good memories of it and the game basically runs well. The single player campaign has its problems in balance, since the requirements (which are pretty high at some point) of some items could not be reached since enemies do not respawn and are therefore limited. The thing is now: they CUT the MP which normally comes afterwards if you keep this high-level items. Even worse: after the final boss he drops the HUGE loot and you get a kick to title screen some seconds after because of the removal of MP. So you get no cutscene and can´t even look at the loot (which is pointless at this point anyways but loot is a big part of the fun of such a game). Since I read DS2 has similar problems in this collection and DS3 is the black sheep of the series I am not motivated to play it anymore...
