i didnt have hi hopes about running the game with rt stuff enabled cause of my mediocre gpu <2070s>,but after playing this game with blitz fx and other quality mods from nexus, i must say one guy pretty much outdone the entire cdpr team and sabre with one mod.the game is good and ive been playing it for years on lots of different hardware and it used to run quite good even moded to the max at 4k with lod increase mods and other demanding stuff.one major thing thats made me write this review is the totally borked water it is UGLY BEYOND BELIEF.with all that said this kinnda looks like a commercial for the 40 series cards from nvidia cause thats what you will need to play this at solid fps.again the update has some cool features but imho its not worth it as you can download mods that are included in the update*there is also a list for compatible mods on nexus.and please for the love of god update your sys req.for this on GOG cause its totally misleading. i played this on a 960,980ti and now on 2070s each gpu handled it well,seems pc players are getting the short end of the stick once again as it is clear as day that this is made for console users cause thats where the CASH is.i know this looks like harsh and its a free update but these kind of decisions show the trajectory cdpr has chosen,they just dont care about their base wich is pc gamers. so too sum up this tirade the witcher 3 is a great game buit on a shitty engine that was frankensteind to support dx 12 features and it got no optimisation what so ever on pc and once again they are squandering the good will they just kinnda got back from the cp2077 debacle.
