If you want the best of this style of game, play this. As the title says, this is the best ARPG (aka "diablo-style") on the market. Mostly the same dev team that previously made Titan Quest--which while definitely showing its age in certain "quality of life" elements, is also a fantastic ARPG that is completely playable to this day. TQ was my fave ARPG up until GD was released--and this game is basically improved in about every way possible over TQ, which I still consider better than Diablo (and TQ is probably roughly on par with Torchlight 2--better on some things, worse on others). If you reach the point that you think you've gotten what you can from this, go grab a version of TQ that includes the Immortal Throne expansion (and probably a few others these days), and give it a play. You'll see the roots of this game in it (and will miss the QoL improvements that GD gives, lol). If you still crave more ARPG gaming at that point, I'd probably suggest TL2 at that point. Others might recommend Path of Exile, but I found PoE grindy, confusing, and completely lacking in fun while getting started. YMMV, but I didn't have any of those issues with GD, TQ, or TL2 (or TL1 for that matter).
