I really looked forward to this game, being a history buff and all. I have played many RTS games over the years and I have to say Stonghold Crusader is about the most irritating game I have played in quite a while. On the second mission, I created 15 archers and 10 spearmen, and they were slaughtered by a band of four Arabian archers without killing a single enemy. This was on normal difficulty. ' I have tried several missions and a couple of skirmishes and found the same problem; the computer is insanely powerful and maddeningly difficult, even on easy. Perhaps multilayer is better, if I ever find someone to play a LAN game with I'll give it a shot.
