With that said well worth your time. Great story, fun to play if you haven't already played Bioshock. I can recommend also looking into system shock.
I owned the PS1 verison back in the day. I jumped at the chance to own it, on PC through GOG. There are a few issues I'm having with this verison. I can only close the game through task manager, and there don't seem to be a way to change/confg controls. No practice mode nor a list of special moves. Otherwise the game is solid, with all the + and - of a MK game.
I'm enjoying playing this game so far, glad its on GOG. I feel this game although has its own style, I feel at home with this game as I do wiith old DOOM.
