Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition

Vile thing

I only bought it as Venturelli's main job game, to support him in his side project studios Rogue Snail.

Just... UGH!

The RNG in roguelikes is the cheaty, teasing, sadistic rogue-DM that only wants to troll us until we break the device (PC, console, phone) and/or die.

Braveland

A sloppy mobile HoMM.

Clearly built with a mobile game construction kit, even if the individual combat missions try to emulate KB/HoMM. This applies to the whole series.

Ys I & II Chronicles+

Painfully hard

Especially the first game, odd as it may sound.

Unfair

The game's match-3 challenges are totally unfair - which is my biggest gripe with it. Played on Steam, refunded :-(

Megabyte Punch

A shoddy beat'em-up

And to make it more confusing it's too easy to get a wrong move so you HAVE to wear two copies of your main offensive move - and map one to "standing", one to "moving". Oh, and the sand zone is not just hard, but BUTTNOXIOUS! The visuals are about the only good thing about this game, once you learn to avoid certain buggy item combos. Verdict: STEER CLEAR!

Ys: The Oath in Felghana

Best worst RPG

Truly, a "best of the worst" RPG

Towerfall: Ascension

A solid couch game

A solid Super Archer Bros type game, but Quest and Trials are a nadir. Also, don't buy Ascension, since it honors a famous faux-victim Anita SHARKeesian.

Neighbours From Hell Compilation

Grand fun! :D

Grand fun for a sadistic weirdo, but not without a bit of frustration (hence the 4). Lovingly crafted, this sadistic point'n'click adventure inspired a lot of Russian clones, both semi-licensed and unlicensed, especially in RUssia. This game was my favorite for a long time before I even got the Internet. When I saw this bundle released, I bought it (or, had my parents buy it). Though I bought it on Steam (sorry, GOG!)
