Game is like that of BG's series. A big world full of lots of choices and a good storyline. Not that much talk in the game which makes me love it even more. You get to make everyone in your party and for me thats the longest part of the game. I just love to customize my group. After that the world is yours. If you ever read any of Salvatore's books you might just get into it even more. ;D note: Not the best game to play in the winter because it will make you feel the cold of the Dale.
This game is the start of something great. RPG's!!! Baldur's Gate is the whole reason GOG is here, it started the love for game and story. Many years later ppl still love and play even talk about how BG started it all and opened the door for RPG's. I really can't put in in words how much I love these games. This is one of the first PC games I ever played. After it I have been stuck on PC games. Play if you have a good old CRT or with a patch that supports widescreen for the game. It shows it's age a bit.
