Questionable writing, bugs, spelling mistakes, Verbal mechanics(people say something that may exist, but likely doesnt), statisticless hidden background mechanics(how or when does something grow?) and a whole lotta meaningless fetch quests for some unlikable characters. Its a visually apealing but flawwed game which seems rushed towards the end. There is something here, but it seemed to be infected by something which rotted it at the core.
Great game, great value. Had some little issues/annoyanced on release but the devs have workd hard letting out patches since release to fix it up. Now a nice little stratergy/progression/collection game. That is how development is done. Only minors issue, please release patch notes on gog. Thanks.
Pricy for such an arguably weak port, Sure it seems to (so far) run well, but: * little to no graphical options (does a single resolution SLIDER count as an option?) * non functional controller display. R1? bro this is an xbox controller and RB is block not use potion?? * crackley sound - unsure on this one fully might just be the older sound files? I damn well hope they can improve this to make the £30 a reasonable ask. Much like the other release, i hoped they would update them with more as time went on.
A nice refreshing calm feel on stratergy/city building. I love the triangles, i love the little building synergies (could do with more) and i love the struggle with climate. My only issue is the non-cymetrical maps. An few improvement id like to see: - "Overlays" like, where are my shields covering? where are my guns covering? (yes there is a way to see it ingame but its finicky and often hard to even see) - The ability to remove "upgrades" as some are arguably situational and can be unwanted or needed at later points. - Climate could be a little more substantial, maybe planets could start at a "neutral" point and be improved with enough work instead of only a fight against making it worse. I look forward to the posibility of additional content.
Well made, but a little rough. Some bad ideas: - autosave shrines before boss fights. - lack of favoriting of equipment nor any switching function. - 0 incentive to kill enemies while backtracking or exploring, item drops and money (even with thief shoes) is rare and no exp. Bugs. - some melee attacks not registering, (maybe 1/30?). - Some attacks bypassing shield, *chasing skulls*. - Some scripting issues with mechanics (golden casket lady) And frustrating mechanics: - Enemy overused dot effects. Few ways to resist them and often accompanies with an attack. - "self undoing puzzles" making backtracking and exploring painfully annoying. - Overpowered magic, underpowred bows and melee. But Was still enjoyable, i will likely return to play more after a patch or 2.
