The balance and depth of this entry in the "Five Star Series" of games makes it the best of the lot. The four generals play very differently for excellent replayability. The only negative I can say is that the AI is not very clever, so there are tricks you can use to gain a great advantage. (E.g., it doesn't account at all for troops that are hidden, invisible, or have moved out of sight range.) I bought this game when it originally came out, and I keep going back to it -- I've never found a turn-based strategy game I like better!
