As a member of the "Baldurs Gate 2 Is the Greatest Game of All Time Club" it is clear that the developers of this third installment may have never played BG1 or BG2. Graphics are great and the storyline is fine but there is something lacking - game fails to enchant. There are lots of bells and whistles for sure but BG 1/2 were never about bells - it was the lore, amazing characters, and the awesome story. DOS2 was a terrific game so had high hopes that Larian could pull it off. Not so much.
