I thought I'd work my way up from Baldurs Gate I + II through Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights before tackling Baldurs Gate 3. I wasn't sure how that would go given how old those games are, but so far I'm enjoying even this first game in the series far more than I have any recent RPG (including Skyrim). The graphics might be a little retro, but the gameplay and storytelling are far more immersive and compelling thanb I expected.
