Great concept and hype before release, but the result directly aber publish (now version 1.05), is mediocre. I like the idea and want to like the game, but there are major drawbacks in its current state. Bugs! After delaying the game to polish it, there shouldn't be this many bugs in the game. Examples: After equipping a piece of armor, the game still shows the previous equipped item for comparison. Only exiting to the main inventory screen and going back to equipment screen, changes that. Seriously, WTF?! After update 1.05 I cannot use the zoom function on the gun, which was equipped and select in game. This gun is basically broken now. Others still work. The main story is... short. Only 2 chapters... Back to the main story, it's really short, basically just a handful of missions. This could have been more. Something good, the performance on a PC is actually pretty great! On 1080P my 5500XT can run the game on ULTRA with a little bit down turning one or two elements. It looks pretty nice. The side missions are actually boring and repetetive after a couple. Some side-story related missions are great (e.g. regarding the romances), but this is the exception. Night City, great open world! Looks nice and within the city it's nearly believable that NPCs actually live there. NPCs can live there, but what about the main character? All the food stands and other small shops/businesses are just props, no interaction possible. Why? It shouldn't be too difficult to create a standard interaction for ordering and eating food, especially since there is not much variation of food stands. All in all, the game shows a lot of potential, but with drawbacks after release. If you plan on buying, wait for 3-6 more months. By then all the annoying bugs and glitches should be patched out and Night City will be more enjoyable. Ps.: The game is nothing for children and deserves the "R" rating. Don't allow your children to play it, some scenes in the game are pretty upsetting.
