The GOG modern upscale mod is pretty buggy for me, but the classic version is fine. I'm sure I could take the game files and go use that engine rewrite mod but I can't be bothered. Also this game makes way more sense when you find out that under the hood this is technically a turn based game with the "turns" running at the max speed the code allows. You can't unsee it after you find that out.
