Big fan of earlier rts games red alert2, ta etc. Was a bit unsure of getting a turn based game, but this is a great lil game and has plenty of replay options and at this price its a steal...go on give it a go! No manuals here for it but if you go to replacementdocs.com and download the manuals for AoW 2 and the separate Shadow Magic reference section that gives you what you need
Had this on disc for years and its a fun little rts/rpg, with a MASSIVE amount of replayability. I noted the comments of someone else on summoning spells having a duration timer on summoned units. Yes this would make a massive difference, a strong hero with summoning skills (necromancer geezer, im looking at you.....yes you) can easily rise to power quickly, so i see it as a rebalancing issue. Doesnt need a high spec to run, its 2d graphics ran fine on my old laptop with only built in chipset. Great fun at a bargain price! Give it a go, if you like old school 2d rts or action rpg, i think you will like!
