Gorogoa

A masterpiece of a puzzle game

As an experienced adventure game player, i have to say this is a unique puzzle game because of the use of a 4 panel grid which actually bends time and space to tell its story, simply brilliant. The hand drawn graphics are beautiful and the music fits the setting perfectly. It is short but this is not an issue, i will replay it soon to get more of the story. Well done!

My Brother Rabbit

A bit different of a hidden object game

I have played the other Artifex games, and it is clear that this is a bit different than their previous titles. It reminded me alot of the Tiny Bang Story in terms of gameplay, it even shares the same concept of having to construct some kind of device at the end of each level. The story is nothing special but serves the purpose, and many mini games are again copied from their previous game. Nevertheless, the art is gorgeous, the music is relaxing and a bit sad at the same time, there are alot of objects to find, and i think the overall gameplay duration is ok. It is worth your time, check it out.

The Tiny Bang Story

Good, could be perfect

That's a really nice game for what it's supposed to be: a hidden object game with puzzles. Graphics and music are great and the puzzles are generally good, although some are typical in this kind of games and a couple are a bit on the nasty side. The lack of a decent story is the weak point, as well as the ending which doesn't offer a satisfaction to the player. Overall recommended for a nice break over the weekend with your kids or alone.

Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride

Top notch hidden object game

As a hardcore adventure gamer, i was never a fan of hidden object games. I bought the trilogy in a gog offer, and man, was i surprised. It is not only hidden objects anymore, there is a great variety of puzzles which keep you entertained. I finished it in a weekend, but really enjoyed it! The graphics are amazing, sounds is good, quite a few achievements also. Highly recommended if you need a break from hard core adventuring!

INSIDE

A unique experience

Fantastic atmosphere, amazing gameplay, outstanding sound design, unbelievably 'live' environments and graphics. The story is open to various interpretations, and that's one of Inside's best assets: you'll be remembering this game for a long time after you finish it.

This is what Adventure Games should be

What an adventure game, what a story, what a production, simply amazing. This is a game that only Legend could make back in the golden days. An adventure game that plays so nicely nowadays after all these years! The story and writing are simply astonishing, the level of detail in the building of the world is unique, by far the strongest asset in the game. Puzzle design is good; the puzzles are there for a reason, not very hard, but they fit nicely to the story. Really nicely done FMV, good sound, the graphics are just fine for me. I will definitely replay it at some point to get a better understanding of some aspects of the story. The GoG build works flawlessly, cannot recommend this more!
