If you have integrated graphics like on a laptop, the game might crash on trying to start a new game. You can download an easy fix for this on nexus mods called Intel graphics bypass. It tricks the game into thinking you have an actual graphics card so it will run, other than that there is no hassle and the performance is overall great.
What a great scam this garbage turned out to be. Buyer beware.
