7 Girls War

I don't like it...

The premise is alright. The characters are colourful. The mechanics are pretty good, even allowing comboing with character abilities. The sex scenese are decent. The music is good. So why don't I like it? It wastes SOO much of the players time just wandering around pointlessly talking to the same people over and over just trying to get SOMETHING to happen. Now when thing are happening, they are very interesting... but so much of my time in this was frustratingly spent just wandering around over and over! There's a journal, but it isn't named anything that'll make you think it is one. I only discovered it after about half the game was already through. Even if I had discovered it earlier, it would've have been much help because it never updates specific stages of a quest or tells you what to do, specifically. It's descriptions are the very deffinition of vague! The only place I remember this helping was when doing the monster hunts in the dungeons; it tells you which city dungeon to go look in. Oh and there's hidden content.... not that you'll ever find it. The normal content is so obscure, as I stated above, that you won't have the mental fortitude to even consider looking for the hidden content. There's a normal ending, which I got and it kinda sucked! There is a hidden ending, which I don't even care to try for... This game basically wore out it's welcome. Better to be short and sweet, leaving the player wanting more, then overstaying your welcome!

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis

Good if you liked the last one.

TLDR: Good game to get on sale. Doubly so if you like being a minion master. However if you want a cool story, this is not it. To be clear, I did like the this one and the last one. I do feel a bit let down by this second one because I saw no connection to the last one. It also has minimalist narrative, which barely strings together. There are side quests and a main quest... the main quest is strange; it's premise doesn't really make sense. Mechanically, it is an improvement in many ways: You can make custom items, which I never wanted to do. You can customize your hoard based on types: spirit, skellies, fleshy and animals. Each has interesting units of their own, doing different things. You DO have to pay to unlock the perks for them, but money is never a problem for long. You can break down items in the field and are encouraged to do so, since your inventory is a few rows long. Map access is strangely restricted at the start and I don't just mean that some portals are locked off until you find their access stone. You can go into the frost area and get blocked by an impassible shield, until you complete a certain story missions. But to do that mission you have to completed all the other accessible areas already. It's not really a choice; there's no real freedom of exploration, except on a single map basis. Single maps are varied and interesting in their own way, with some narrativey storytelling based on what you can see there. There's a new game plus mode; you can play this for a VERY long time. It's just too bad that I don't want to....

Fox Girls Never Play Dirty!

Pretty good overal.

TL:DR Pretty good, but not my favorite. If you get the unrated dlc, it's got some nice hentai scenes. It's got a good, balanced combat system. The story is interesting. Music is nice Areas are fun to explore, with a few secrets here and there. There's a class system, which itself is good. The problem comes when trying to unlock switching to the different classes. The quests to do so are COMPLETELY unrelated to anything training or combat related. You will probably have to look up how to find them online; I had to! This game has some railroading for story purposes. I get pissed off by things like that, so it irritates me every time I see it. Luckily there's only a few of them throughout the entire game! Another downside is that a LOT of the hentai scenes are only available when your party is defeated. You or your party members get ravished. This is not my kinda thing and so it left me with precious few other scenes available.... mostly brothels and one-offs. You can get lost, since there's no journal. However there is a hint person for the story and a hint 'person' for the hentai scenes in town.

A fun story!

Can't say much without giving anything away, so I'll just say that the game subverted my expectiontions and I thoroughly enjoyed it! :-)
