If you expect to play an RPG (like I did) you may be severely disappointed. Game mechanics are simplistic yet frustratingly nonsensical. As for the characters and story, I've detected none of the charm and good writing the other reviewers wrote about. Granted, I've played only about 2 hours. Maybe beyond that combat starts to make sense, there are no random map encounters and themes evolve from silliness, vague nostalgia and memes to something interesting... but I doubt it.
