Growing up with Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Crime Fighters, Bad dudes, Combatribes, etc. this game fits right in. it's very much an homage to Final fight and Streets of Rage. Graphically it really calls back to Final Fight. Same with the story etc. Music is alright, it's no Streets of Rage II but it's still good. Play control is good. It has the feel of an old school beat-em-up and the basics are all there. It's not ground breaking, but personally I don't want ground breaking. Over all: if you're expecting something NEW, you'll be disappointed. If you want a modern homage to the old greats of the genre that uses it's formulas from top to bottom, it can be very satisfying. As an older ex arcade rat, I love this game.
