I just didn't really like anything about this game. I figured maybe it was just because I was still at the beginning of the game, so I tried to push through, but I just can't do it anymore. I love to read books, and other games with a lot of reading don't bother me, but having to read in this game made the whole thing a chore. I'm not sure what it was about the writing that made me hate it so much, but there was a lot of it, which made it a big problem On the plus side, the writing was very descriptive and painted a good picture of what was happening. It just didn't hold my interest. Also, I felt like I spent all my time wandering around tiny environments , holding down the tab key, clicking on random stuff, reading some (usually boring, in my opinion), story about something or other, and then moving on to do more of the same. The beginning (which I never got past) was, I guess, supposed to be some sort of engrossing mystery, but honestly, I felt like a spectator to a story I was uninterested in rather than the player of a game.
I enjoyed this game, even the original campaign which apparently a lot of people hated (though at first I thought all the companions were really annoying). Bugs were my main problem. There were just so many of them. When I thought I'd seen them all, another would emerge. For the most part, it was nothing major, but I did have to reload a few times or go hunting on Google for a solution. So, if you want to buy this game, I'd say save often (like, twice as often as you usually do) because you probably WILL have to reload to an earlier save because of some bug, and it probably WILL be super inconvenient for you. And don't buy it if bugs make you very angry.
