I'm very late to the party when it comes to playing this game, but I've had a good time so far. I wouldn't say it's the best of all time award winner deluxe. It definitely has a bunch of "AAA" moments (like crawlspaces, press F to save the day, etc), but I am still enjoying my time with it. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys on the rails action games. :)
I really appreciate the human element to this game, in a sea full of AI generated, procedural garbage. The voice acting and hand drawn environments are very charming. I'm glad the game wasn't as scary as I was expecting it to be, otherwise I probably wouldn't have finished it. All in all, I think it's worth the $15 I paid for it. If you're expecting to be terrified and like horror games, then expect to only raise an eyebrow in moderate surprise if you play this game. I'm a big coward, and nothing about this was particularly scary, but that was welcome for me, personally.
