... And a really sour taste in the mouth from a game that could have been good if it was scaled down. A lifeless husk of the city that gets more in the way of rather than help you enjoy the story. Somehow this rings "anthem" and sadly cdpr lost their street cred with me. I am not angry with the straight out lies in the promotions as I pre-ordered the game on good faith even before that, I'm angry that there was a promise "it'd be ready when it's ready"... And it clearly is not.
Excellent game but definitely not for every one. Frustrating and punishing, with intense platforming where you'll need to memorize each step in order to continue. When one gets the hang of the movement the combat rooms are exhilarating, overall pacing of the game is very good and the story although cliche and told through voice coms is enjoyable and rather on the good side. If you like hard platformers, this is a very good bang for the buck.
