I wanted to enjoy this game but: Pros: Large map Good narrative / voice over Nice day/night simulation Cons: Bugs - I never play games on launch. I think its better to wait so they fix the stuff, and here we are in 2021 and this game is packed with bugs. The variety of bugs is massive, each 2 hours I get some kind of different bug. Ranging from crashing the game, to being stuck... This is a no-no for such a big studio and the timespan after launching the game. Combat - This should be very important in the game but seems unfinished. I will not write how bad it is. Monsters - You start the game by slaying a big flying Griffin which promises epic battles, but since then there are like 6 types of lazy monsters repeating itself. No where near epic battles. Big, but empty map - Not so much interaction with the environment. A nice walking simulator. Leveling system - just bad. For example, if you finish a quest which is level 16 and you are level 12, the game should give you a reward as a bonus experience or something, but no. It treats you like every other level that finished, no difference at all. Horse riding - broken. I found myself using running as faster method to go to places. The horse just keeps stuck in rocks, trees... etc... Bad fast travel - Grind at finest... Travel here travel there... Lost 20 minutes watching the minimap to arrive to destination, and then the npc gives you another 20 minutes to walk... What were the designers of this game thinking? Out of 100 hours of gameplay, you are 80 hours walking, 15 hours watching cutscenes and 5 hours killing repetitive enemies. Story - Didn't find it amusing. Whole game you are searching for Ciri, and then, depending on some dialog choices the game will end differently. Nothing wrong with that, EXCEPT that the choices give the player no indication that the fate will be changed. It feels random and lame. So if I choose the bad "lines" the game will punish me with sad ending.
