First seven chapters are done right, it's dark, the story keeps you interested. Everything goes downhill when they introduce that very strong and independent pirate whats her face. Amicia's character breaks real fast, she betrays the dude who saved her skin with no reason at all, Hugo gets annoying to the point being barely tolerable, the writing just sucks and the main villain is just a joke. And finally, felt a little vomit in my mouth when i saw her in the prologue. If i were to rate the first game it'd be a thums up, at least her hair was still intact
Bearded females and females with male voices? What next Larian, do your friends at WotC feel comfortable when you still use races in your games? My rating is a joke just like your decision to ditch DOS3 proper for this

Highly suggest playing lone wolf style in honor mode if you haven't already. Best option for pure classes though, my favorite is Backstabber/Crossbow Archer here. Female warrior VA is top notch. DOS 2 is a good game, DOS is a masterpiece

can't see what all the fuss is about, it's just stupid dorky character. tedious, bugs, more bugs, poor writing, voice acting is mediocre or worse it's pretentious, the devs try to convince you it's immersive, well, it's not.
you will like it uless you are a complete dork. Chararacter is great, immersion, voice acting, graphics all is top notch. Some woud say combat is simplistic but it's up to you, it can be beautiful too. It's short but I would play it any day over that triple a crap they throw at us these days. To me it's the future of gaming, thats what you get when talented devs do what they want. Thank you NT
Just beat DOS EE in Honor mode after not touching it for a couple of years, and I cant honestly say which of the two is my favorite. Both games are fantastic, it's actually not a review but more of a thank you to Larian. Look forward to enhanced version of Original Sin 2.
