refreshing rpg. i enjoyed the time i have spent with it so far
this is a great game, characters are bland but the game play is solid. i spend hours just leveling guys to find interesting class combinations. the game introduces some table top themes like giving u text describing a scenario then you use different skills to try to overcome situations. if you like games like neverwinter nights, or balders gate than you will feel right at home with this game.
this game has so much replay its rediculous. there are several classes, routes to take in the game, companions to befriend, and expansions are games themselves with replay value. if that isnt enough there are mods and fan made adventures and content to plow through. i have played this game since it came out and have baught it many times over. wish they had digital like they do now back in the day. anyways..... get it!
GET IT!!!!!! only homm i still play on the regular. i love being able to mix and match abilities on my heroes and see how many units they can take down by themselves. there is a lot of depth in this game with the addition of heroes on the battle field, the many skills leaders can learn, units per faction, resource management, and simply trolling a buddy by stealing mines. doubt they have multiplayer anymore but man was it amazing back in the day. i just wish they could find the magic they had with this game in the later installments. i keep buying them and they keep getting worse.
love the game but i bought it for multiplayer with friends on steam. not sure if its because they are on steam or what but i can not for the life of me figure out why we cant join each others games. npnp thing on options says its working fine so i dunno. when i look for random online games only 1 or 2 pop up so not very good online game to play
