Portraits are good, but other than that, characters are just spreadsheets.
Boring game and nothing special. I wanted to see the 'revolutionary' dialogue system - not much different from what we had in 1990's. The only thing going for this game is voice acting and graphics - compared to the point and click games of the good old days. I played for an hour (that I will never get back). My adventure ended because I 'tried' to punch some kid and missed. My character lost one morale point (whatever that means), and it caused him to completely reasonably quit the police work. Yep, a very likely scenario for a person routinely dealing with dead bodies, gangsters, etc. Whatever immersion I was having, vanished at that point. Buy some other game instead.
