A Bullfrog masterpiece from 1997, back when games didn’t hold your hand and just threw you into the deep end with a smirk. You’re running a hospital, building rooms, hiring doctors, nurses, and janitors, all while dealing with patients who have the most ridiculous diseases. The humor’s what sells it. This game’s got that dry, British wit. Gameplay’s solid as hell for its age. You’re juggling a budget, staff morale, and patient satisfaction while trying not to let the place turn into a death trap. Build a GP’s office, a pharmacy, maybe a psych ward for those Elvis impersonators with “King Complex.” For its time, Theme Hospital was a banger, and it still holds up if you’re into retro sims
