Look the premise of the game is good, cinematics are good and story is good. The problem is anything you do outside quest cinematics is packed full of all kinds of bugs. I bought the game at launch and every time they push a new patch through I try to start a new playthrough but don't get that far into it because the sheer frequency of bugs showing up that completely breaks any immersion you start to build. So here is just a very small list of things I've seen in my latest playthrough on patch 1.3 (9 months after the release): - Inputs freeze after you alt tab from the game - Chase a hacked Delamain and said Delamain just ends up freezing in the air (had to steal a car just to use it as a platform to be able to reach the Delamain that froze in the air) - One of the very first missions in Arasaka tower NPC guards appear out of nowhere right behind you, - Got the quest to from the dude who lives in your building to join a shooting contest. I go there, get through the quest then get out and every one in the building is doing the whole panic move where they crouch and don't move. - I was driving my car through the city and just very slightly clipped a pedestrian NPC with it (they didn't even fall down). Next thing everyone just starts to straight out run in panic or do the stupid crouch in fear thing. - I was on a mission where you have to go into a wharehouse that has a lot of explosives lying around. I killed all NPCs and was just looting items and then all of a sudden my character gets to like 2hp. I look around and it looks like this weird physics engine they have randomly threw the gas tank when I was walking close to it. And I'm not even talking about all the mechanics (like interractions with the police) that they promised and didn't deliver. CDPR, I hope it was worth chewing through all that goodwill that you've build up with Witcher 3. After this botched release, you're on the same level as all of your scummy industry peers like EA or Ubi etc.
