Far Cry®

Great action and made me laugh

The AI is fun to play against. Years ago when I first played I wasn't used to the AI actually reacting to my actions. I thought I was being all sneaky and I was going to get in the vehicle with the two enemies, eliminate them, and drive off. Instead while I was sneaking up on them I heard a vehicle drive up behind me but before I could do anything else I got run over. Somewhere a security team saw me and the AI decided it would be best instead of shooting me to drive really fast towards me. Another time I was hiding in the jungle listening to a conversation two guards were having. They started talking about how they were going to, "Fix his little red wagon..." when they find me. I busted up. And then I shot them.

Sword of the Stars: Complete Collection

Really good game, except for the voices!

Why the 4 stars? Because after every action you do in the game your advisers have to say something and some races get annoying much quicker than others with the phrases advisers say. Once in a while maybe but after every single mouse click? Come on! The game is great and researching and commanding fleets in 3D is fun but after 20 minutes of playing I get really annoyed with the stupid advisors saying the same thing over and over again whenever I click on the research button or the build button. I can't take the voices anymore.... make them stop!

Master of Orion 1+2

First PC game that was exciting!

Back in the day this was the fun one. It uses DoxBox and you can make it full screen by having your mouse in the doxbox window and pressing 'ctrl+f10' and then alt +enter'.

Not working correctly on modern systems

Great game but it will not work on a new system I bought around Christmas 2016. I was able to play for about 43 minutes after I disabled my antivirus, which is not AVG, but since then whenever I managed to startup it will crash to desktop when trying to load my save game even when my antivirus is disabled and I'm not connected to the internet like the first time it worked. If you can play it it's great but most likely you will have issues, unless you have a 9 year old computer sitting around with nice hardware to play this title. Destructive environments are cool and so is the enemy AI taking cover and the weapons available. Head shots built into the game. But like I said this title has a serious problem running on modern tech. The internet and forums are full of this type of issue regarding Cyrsis on modern systems.
