This game needed months more development time. CDPR actively misleaded the state of the game in promotion. If the bugs are ironed out it seems like a pretty good single player action game. The city itself is pretty decor but nothing like a vibrant "alive" city and i don't think any patch will or can change that. CDPR, shame on you for the shambolic state of affairs.
What we were excited for was Streets of Rage 4 What we got was a generic brawler with smartphone graphics, forgetttable music, and gameplay that no way like a streets of rage game should play. There is now a streetfighter-esque combo system, an invisible wall, and the way the characters move and hits are taken is a complete departure from what streets of rage was ever like. Massive disappointment
Xeno crisis is a port of a newly released game for the Sega Megadrive. The visuals and sounds are the best you will find on the system. The PC port brings some enhancements like twinstick support, more and better voice samples, and some small visual upgrades while still keeping the megadrive's visuals. Thankfully not only the visuals and audio are top-notch, the gameplay is a lot of fun and keeps me coming back for more. Randomized level layouts and lots of different enemies and weapons keep it fresh. It's hard as nails though! If you like this genre this is a title you just can't miss. Top title!
