Terraria

Shameless Minecraft ripoff

with some idiosyncrasies thrown in simply for the sake of being different (eg. you can make a pickaxe from a cactus but not stone). There is little reason to be playing Terraria instead of that game.

Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection One

Not impressed

Simply a clone of Dungeon Master with slightly better graphics. No music, enemies simply disappear when killed. Super Mario Bros., a 6 years older game was better in this respect (among others). Westwood should stick to RTS.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Best cowboy FPS, period.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Not a perfect game by any means

...but it gets pretty close.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Witch Souls: Prepare to Load

A drastic departure from the first game, gameplay wise... but not necessarily for the worse! If you like Souls, you will be in your element. If not, well, you had better learn to roll. Apart from some UI issues stemming from being a 7th gen multiplat. the only objective shortcoming is the significant nerf that has affected alchemy, more specifically potions (probably to account for the action RPG gameplay slant and also as a justification for the alchemy skill tree). Other than that, if you are a fan of good games (and you should be), you could do a lot worse than Witcher 2.

Titan Quest Anniversary Edition

Dude, what if Diablo but in old Greece?!

The long years between Diablo 2 and 3 were a godsend for companies who wanted a slice of the "hamster wheel simulator" market.

Sacred 2 Gold

Mediocre HnS "RPG"

Still, if you're the type of person who likes Diablo, you'll be ecstatic.

The Temple of Elemental Evil

Troika does it again

The best modern (read: not made for DOS) DnD game, simple as. Notably uses a turn based system, as any DnD game (and in fact, any CRPG) should. Also, no gay space hamsters.

DOOM II

Obvious cashgrab "sequel"

...and even more blatant cashgrab "mission pack". Still, pretty good.

Icewind Dale 2 Complete

Icewind Gayle 2

Pointless cashgrab sequel to a pointless cashgrab game (and I'm talking about the original release).
