I have a daughter and I'm also single so this game hits me on a very personal level , i feel like this game was ment for single fathers who went through hell and back to protect there daughter from the evils of the world , thats what this game is about , you are a priest who has an adventure through a wintery version of hell to save his daughter from "mr.pinstripe" aka the devil , the story has a very mysterious quality to it , and it hits hard , and makes you think , the game is short about 3 or 4 hours long , but ! there is a new game plus mode ! adding some replayablity , creating an arsonal much more powerful the second time around , and unlocking rooms that were previously locked in the first play through , for the price this game is iffy , for roughly 20 dollars i feel this game has little to offer for the price but having said that , the game is so polorizing and impacful that it feels worth it for the short journey alone and i personaly feel that this game is a timeless story that you can go through again and again if your feeling depressed , i recomend this game ! , and your also helping out the developer , one person worked on this game , and it took him about 5 years i believe , it was a labour of love for this man , support his vision
if you enjoy sims you might like this? its just not for me what so ever , its so boring its almost a crime ! , i've never fell asleep playing a game before , but this one did the trick , if you ever have trouble sleeping ? , just play this game for about an hour , this game has a very hard learning curve that almost isnt worth it. the point of the game is to scare people out of a house , thats it. it has some strategy and an upgrade system , not for the casual gamer at all , and a slog to play for a serious gamer , not recommended
If you enjoy devil may cry you will probably like this , this game is very interesting , very much of a japanese vibe to it , lots of blood , poor english dub , grimey and dark tone and lots of big chested woman to gock at , (very awkward to play in front of your girlfriend) its a very manly game in otherwords , with very fun combat , artsy cell shaded style and a story that makes little sence but is very interesting , this game is like nothing i've ever played before and its really awesome , i highly recomend getting this game if you enjoy obscure titles.
I found myself being bored instead of creeped out or scared. The game looks fine enough , graphics are more focused towards the enemies and main characters , other NPCs look kind of bad. Overall the game looks okay graphically but nothing amazing , it feels like a major budget title.The game plays out more or less like a cheap fatal frame , with wonky controls and some notable bugs , the enemies are creepy looking at least but there is no real danger as when you "die" , you just run down a big hall called "purgatory" , but its basically a loading screen and you start right where you left off. I would say don't waste your time on this, unless you feel like playing a mediocre horror game reminisant to classic horror games, it's acceptable but nothing more, its just fine , thats it.
