Listen up - i have this on steam-it's so damn good,i didn't have to eat,didn't have to drink my coffee(and coffee it's very in need ).It's just make your day as it should . Buuuutttt >>>>>What if i would tell you all you can find this game ,on another platform FOR FREE -I'm sorry GoG ,give me a single reason to give you 15E for your game here,when i can take it DRM free ,on another platform.Cheers
I've so missed this game ,had a chance to play it in 2009,and unfortunatelly didn't finish it. Now,when i saw it ,it was certain buy .I understand those having issue with controller/joystick,and i hope they get theirs fixed.I had no problem playing with keyboard . Anyone who wants the game and is unsure here's some thoughts : Player can experience historical medieval setup in Middle East .The world is huge and never boring,always something to do.Story is incredible. The environment is absolutely gorgeous.Due to theme involved,there are limitations to weapons,but those few are very fun to use. I give 3 stars because the series isn't complete ( i would've expected the others brothers of the game here on GoG) and because game would have been different with mods (imagine an editor or mods like in Mount and Blade Warband).
1991-2001-2011-2020 this is by far one of the best ms-dos games ,that IT REALLY BROUGHT joy into our childhood,alongside many titles... Yes is so good i'm not sure newly produced titles would as good as Dave. And seriously GoG you are gonna ask for that price when there are almost 30 years since it was launched????ARE YOU GUYS FOR REAL????
Finally Space Run 's here yeeehaaw - lost hope i would find this hillarous little runner anywhere- i'm so glad it made its way here.Don't even have the slightest doubt if you've put your eyes on it-get it- energizing countless of comic hours -Like they say : Have a brake ,have a (Kitkat) Space Run- whenever you a want short good relaxation, grab your favourite beverage,light a cigar or a cigarette and blast them like never before .Like in tennis, start with small steps then build your plan to victory .Time for some pirates tears :)
Consider this to be a neutral review, nor bad ,nor good - Similarities > Arma,Brothers in Arms,Commandos(but with 1st /3rd person perspective),Tom Clancy' but in ww2.Although it has a strong feeling and atmosphere,years punched the game really hard.I'd say like this : Pros: -decent graphics ,but you can see the difference effectively in game compared to today visual tech (let's say it's holding up) - Awesome diversity and combination in creation of team ,giving a little bit of long playability,without getting bored. -Unique ww2 feeling,humor ,which few game titles at the given point in time were able to deliver. -Awesome stealth features.(Remember Sniper Elite 1 as it's almost it's twin game,and play almost the same) - Good UI (but can be greatly improved)( somehow interesting feature like in Men of War,where you can take enemy's equipment and use it for yourself)-Thank God keys can be (re)bind -Decent voice acting Cons: <> -Messed up, tactical approach (wtf?) (it seriously needs rework and improvement)( soldiers which were given orders ,stop from executing them and many more others )(Brother in Arms does a hell of a better job with this feature) -Bruh-- if i would have wanted a cardboard paperish looking graphics i would have consider playing another title - Graphics are decent but NEED a HUGE OVERHAUL and improvement -Effects and animation- Facepalm -If i throw a grenade i expect to go BOOM with a decent splash and smoke not like an anemic pressed fart-Driving camera animation is also weird when driving in 3rd person. - AI also needs rework -i'm sorry Overall it still is good ww2 title,you can plan yor actions HOW you want ,WHEN you want, you can push humor to limits (just don't do as i did ,as i tried to steal the jeep inside the training compound and the sergeant on patrol caught me as i wanted to blast through gates,well there was the truck option,but it had no fuel -sad face).And i strongly recommend doing all training +tutorials(and rebind ur keys)
This game-uhm-pardon me,this legend speaks for itself- it was the beginning of a special genre ,of an epic gaming era,a beginning of a cult. Legend is back - there aren't enough words for what Diablo 1+2 ,Lod, means- a must have for everyone .Back in the day,besides world of warcraft,starcraft,heroes of might and magic and CS ,it was the most played RPg EVER-with gaming halls in night at full capacity-it was on everyone lips - so amazing memories -good job GoG for bringing one of the most fun game in history.
I'll begin with saying many thanks to GoG for bringing this one .I have VaS outside GoG ,(and now got it here aswell) and i rushed to grab it early on it's release ,due to extremely liking of ships ,subs and naval warfare .Still having fun while playing it (originally it didn't had all the factions,later on they were added) -graphics are holding up pretty well, very decent, they are not ugly-AI was greatly improved -i won't spoil the surprise but i can promise one won't get bored at all ( time skip option available) - (i.e -aproach of different tactics,suitable ships to liking,different attack/defend modes -night incursions, you name it) -these are some of the juicy stuff you'll get,and you'll no doubt forget when the time passes.Yes ,they did their homework and they did it well.One more thing -World of warships can easily inspire from this as it's surpassed by miles even thou VaS it's not a massive multiplayer -I recommend from bottom of my heart.Totally worth it
Most would say "You must be joking ,right?" -Have you ever felt the need ,in a hot summer day ,to quickly chill and buy yourself a cool flavoured icecream from the icecream truck,who was just passing by? To be spontaneous- that is exactly what this little one invites you to experiment -cool adrenalin through nice space rts -And by all means ,please have your doubts -give it a try.See for yourself.A little tip thou-when playing it ,use a pair of headphones ;) -you'll feel the difference.
Even thou,i'm an extremely addicted to rpg genre,frankly to my shame,i didn't know of this one.And i still have Drox Ops ,and i come back every now and then to it.It is true,genre is full of rpg with zombies, but you can find some interesting features in Zombasite too-it's pretty dynamic,has good graphics(not some that would blow your minds but good enough) ,neat help topics (if anyone is in to play it i strongly suggest not to overlook these help topics because they can help big time),diversity( you can experiment with different types of character creation and build) ,so i don't think it can gets boring, ability to craft items,and one can export character.From what i've seen it runs pretty smoothly and stable without major issues.One minor thing that i would point out,is that Soldak can improve and polish more the map and minimap.Overall ,i would say ,have not the slightest doubts and get it ,i for sure recommend it.
