Rimworld is a great game with fantastic DLCs, you can play it easy and casual (no dangers) or as the most difficult game in the world . It's inspired by Dwarf Fortress but in a scifi post apocalyptic setting.
After 120 hours i reached the end of my first playthrough , The scope and ambition of the game is epic , everything works together, it is a deep and consistent world , a dark world that touches every little thing that makes a society ... from the future of economics, technology, work, the state, corporations, crime , personal relations. If you think that imagining and designing at that scale a totally new world is easy, you are mistaken. The city is vibrant, amazing,the stories, the sounds , the people, the fashion , the ads , the small time crook stories are immersive. As any amrchair general will say, there are some rough edges and i will wait until february for my second playthrough , This is a world that needs 30 years of development ... and i am signed up for the ride.
