This is basically the game that started all of this looting based genre. Path of Exile, Borderlands, Destiny, Warframe etc. would probably not exist if it wasn't for this game. BUT I would have to say that it aged. It really aged. If you're a newcomer to the series I recommend Diablo 2. Diablo 2 overshadows this one in almost every aspect. But this one is still good, so you can get this too if you want. At the end of the day it's your money, your decision.
