VirtuaVerse

Amazing cyberpunk adventure game

After playing through the whole game, I found it very good! True to the nature of adventure/point and click games, and to the cyber scene. Being a kid who grew playing classic adventure games like Sam & Max, Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle, first going online via BBSs, and then seeing the internet appear, the warez scene in its best early stage and all, this game was just perfect for my taste. The story is very interesting, and actually very recent in relation to the current developments in the digital world, and it got me hooked. I liked the characters and the story behind them and, of course, I loved the graphics and music from the game. For me, it's a 10/10 game for adventure lovers, but probably mostly for the players who like cyberpunk and technology themes. Some puzzles are certainly hard, but if you have the courage to step back, and come back the next day, they are all solvable. Some are just a matter of scanning each scene to find a missing inventory piece, others are a matter of thinking and paying attention to dialogues. I would say it's one of the most challenging point n' click games I've ever played, and I wish I hadn't gone through some tips/walktrhoughs because after going to them you realize you were just missing a point that wasn't hard to beat on your own. Congratulations to the developers, it gives a really good honor to the best adventure games of our childhood, with beautiful pixel art and music. BTW: I wish this game had voiceovers, but that doesn't bring any of the game down. Bad voice acting could have ruined the game in such a way that I am more than glad that it doesn't have the voiceovers.

Great story, hard solving

The story is great, voiceovers too. Graphics and interaction are dignate of classic point & click adventures, overall an awesome game that I would recommend to every adventure enthusiast. Some puzzles are hard to solve, you must really think out of the box to get past a certain part of the game, and also to finish it. Watch out, because you can die and will have to continue over and over. Think like a Rabbi should, and act like some Rabbis do, and you'll manage to finish it with honor.
