TRON 2.0

Tron 2.0 huge loveletter to Tron 1

I'll keep this pretty short and simple. Tron 2.0 really emerges you in its world. It's one of those "down the rabbit hole we go" games , like what bioshock does to you. The world still feels believable, real and alive. One of my favorite sounds from the original Tron movie was the Recognizer's. Was sad in Tron Legacy they didn't sound the same. Tron 2.0 they do and it's bad ass. The combat feels good blocking discs and the skill-up system is highly addicting.

Torment: Tides of Numenera - pack

Grammar / Reading ETC!

The best thing about TORMENT: Tides of Numenera is not only is it a fun game, it teaches you things you don't even realize. This game was made by some of the best writers on earth. It's almost the same way King's Quest/Space Quest/Police Quest taught me how to type. This game can teach you proper use of grammar and just elevate your reading/writing skills. Aside from all that though, game is masterfully written and incredibly engaging. The only downside , if any is the combat. Then again, even Planescape Torment main focus wasn't combat. It was it's masterful story telling. You can play Tides of Numenera a hundred times and each time will be completely different, due to the web of choices the game takes you on. This is a choose your own adventure book, made into a video game. This is mind candy. If you are looking for more action oriented games though, seek out Pillars of Eternity (even though sort of heavy on reading too) , Wasteland 1 (2 in the works) Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 (coming soon). I'm a proud backer of tides and glad we had this opportunity to even have this game created.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Sun Series

YES!!! DARK SUN! has arrived

This series has a special place in my heart. Shattered Lands, just amazing .. and even though Wake of Ravager had a lot of bugs .. still just as amazing because the combat was so deep. It's turned based, Wasteland 2/fallout 1-2/Divine Divinity : Original Sin ..but with older looking graphics. A lot of depth to the combat. Cast web, slow down enemies .. shoot fireballs (hit many),...combats great! Shattered lands had one of the most amazing end times too. Won't give it a way but when you overcome the "event" ..leave feeling very heroic. Still haven't beat Wake of Ravager , will give it another go though. Good game, must own. also check out: (if your RPG fan) Eye of the Beholder Series Menzoberranzan Ravenloft Series Each is 6! out of 5 to me as well..so damn good

Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Three

MENZO!

Menzoberanzan to me was pure magic. Was little later, coming down from my Eye of the Beholder and Dark Sun high, new style Dungeon Crawl was just coming out.. Menzoberanzan! I really enjoyed the updated graphics, destroying enemies (hearing the way they scream and poof into green/purple clouds of smoke, was satisfying. The Ravenloft games also used the same engine. Those games are also excellent. Hopefully those are in the next pack. Those are a no-brainer buy, as is this and the eye of the beholder series just came out.

Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection One

Wish granted!! YES!

Eye of the Beholder 1 , 2 and 3 were the very first SSI games I played. Sort of kick myself for not playing the Pools of Radiance , etc . That's OK though, I now have an opportunity! Anyhow, Eye of the Beholder gripped me so hard. I loved the dungeon hack style along with the puzzles and methods you had to do to stay alive. There is no auto-map however if you venture long enough, the map is in your head. Not too incredibly difficult to memorize. The games hard core, and Eye of the beholder 1 boss is Hard Core. Eye of the beholder 2 really builds off of the greatness of 1. For me it's my favorite game out of the three. So many nights cracked out playing it omg. This was one of the wishes I had made for GOG to release these masterpieces. It has been granted! I hope to see Dark Sun: Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager next! Those games also are incredibly fun as well

Still have my Silver CD. Great adventure game and fun combos you can do with a mouse. Bosses are a lot of fun and the game is very unique. I highly recommend this game

Shadowrun Returns

5 Stars for limitless

Shadow Run in the beginning was limited. This is why you see 3's and 4's rated by users. Almost immediately though new content was being released by mod creators. Some of the content is amazing! I've seen a re-done version of Shadow Run SNES and Genesis version out there. There are some content out there still work in progress but even those are ever changing. This isn't just one game you are purchasing, but a game that continues to grow from the community. It's limitless. Gameplay reminds me of tactical time unit combat, sort of thing you would find in old X-Com games or fallout games. Highly recommend this

Wizardry 8

Epic , is just a word. This goes beyond

Having played Wizardry 8 and completed it, I found that this game has just an incredible amount of depth to it. There is just such high replay value as well. You can play any number of combinations with your group. Gog must have sacrificed some virgins to get this devilishly good game. I rank this up there with Baldur's Gate in terms of depth and replay. If your new to gaming or used to modern graphics, seriously give this a try and don't be put off. I can tell you this, the game will sink its teeth into you.. and not let go. Great experience
